Photographing this winter wedding at the Fennes was a fantastic experience. Even with a misty start to the day, there was something magical about this place that’s hard to describe. A Georgian Manor House with over 100 acres of stunning gardens, it’s steeped in history and tucked away guaranteeing you absolute exclusivity. I was so pleased to be asked to photograph Lyndsey and Murat’s Fennes wedding – it can sometimes be a little daunting to shoot virtually all of the day inside but the Fennes is so nicely maintained and the colours are superb, we had a blast using every corner we could find.
Murat is from Turkey and he and his brothers treated the guests to a spectacular display of Turkish dancing at the reception – absolutely fantastic and it really kicked the party off for the rest of the night.
